If you’re considering a new authoring tool for your upcoming training projects, you’ll want to give the Articulate 360 30-day free trial a whirl. Articulate 360 is an annual subscription that gives you everything you need to create awesome e-learning that works on every device. From the authoring tools to the review app, you’ll have tons of features that simplify course development from start to finish.

Let’s say you’ve downloaded the trial and you’re wondering what to do next … well, here’s a peek at four things you can do with your Articulate 360 trial.

Invite Colleagues to Join

Once you’ve signed up for and validated your Articulate 360 trial, you can invite up to 10 colleagues to join your team. Just enter their email addresses and click Send Invite.

Don’t want to invite colleagues right away? You can add additional users to your team at any time by heading over to your profile and clicking the Manage Team option.

Collaborate on Projects

Once you’ve invited colleagues to join your team, you can work together using the collaborative features available in Rise 360 and Storyline 360. Simply navigate to 360.articulate.com and click the Rise 360 button to access your Rise 360 dashboard. From there, click on the course that you want to share with your collaborators.

Inside your course, navigate to Settings and click on the Collaborators tab. Now you can enter an email address to invite a team member to collaborate on a course with you.

The collaborator can have either admin or author rights. Authors can create and edit lessons, while admins can make changes to settings, publish to review, and export the courses. It’s super easy to work with others to get your courses built faster and more effectively.

Create and Share Content

Another time-saving collaborative feature available in Rise 360 is the ability to create and share block templates. Once you’ve built out a specific lesson layout in Rise 360, you can quickly create a template and reuse it in other lessons and courses to save time.

Here’s more information about creating, sharing, and reusing block templates.

Using Storyline 360? Then you’ll be pleased to know that you can easily share a slide, scene, or entire project with other members of your team. Learn more about how to use team slides for collaboration.

Send Content for Review

Once you’ve created your first course in Rise 360 or Storyline 360, you can publish it to Review 360 to get feedback from your colleagues and project stakeholders. It’s important to note that colleagues don’t need to be on your team to act as reviewers. They don’t need to install any software or sign up for anything to be a reviewer; they simply pop in their email address and start leaving comments and feedback. Here’s more information about getting started with Review 360

If you follow these four steps when you jump into your Articulate 360 free trial, you’ll be up and running in no time. Here’s additional information about the Articulate 360 free trial. And if you still have questions, let me know in the comments!

Version 1.0
  • Hi, my team and I are exploring in Trial to see if it is a good fit for us. I can't seem to find the Review option in Articulate Storyline 360 when Publishing so I can add a block in Rise 360 and test it. Is it something you can't do in trial mode? Thank you!
