Here's what I think people miss a lot in a discussion of models.
They are MODELS. They are beginnings. Any model not modified to your specific environment won't work, agile or not.
We employ a variation of ADDIE that includes prototyping early and evaluation integrated into every step. Increase the turn-around rates and you still meet acceptable time constraints.
