Introducing the Articulate Beta Program

We’re committed to delivering you more value, more often—which is why we’re excited to introduce Articulate’s new beta program! Here’s what you need to know.

What Is It?

The beta program gives you—our customers—the chance to explore and offer feedback on experimental features across Articulate 360 apps. That way, you can help shape and enhance these features to truly fit your needs.

How Do I Participate?

If you have an Articulate 360 account, you’re automatically included in this new program! We’ll add beta features to our apps during updates and mark them with a Beta badge. From there, simply try them out and give us feedback via in-app surveys or in our E-Learning Heroes community.

If you’ve been paying close attention, you might have noticed that we already have a few beta features:

Note that since features in beta are still evolving, they’re subject to changes in scope, pricing, and packaging, or discontinuation.

Wrap-Up

With incremental value, delivered more frequently—and with your helpful feedback—we hope to build products that meet your needs.

Want to see how your voice can make a difference? Check out this update we’re releasing based on customer feedback: 11 New Articulate 360 Features To Celebrate.

And if you’re not an Articulate 360 subscriber, you can start a free 30-day trial for access to the beta program.

  • How do we provide feedback outside of the surveys? My company does not allow google forms.

      Hi Beth,
You can provide feedback here if you'd like and I'll pass it along. What's going on?
  • I really just meant in general, as I'd like a way to tell my team how to give feedback. But in this specific case, for the Review 360 Team folder feature, it would be great if we could publish directly to a Team folder instead of having to publish first to our personal folder and then remember to move it.

Thanks for that feedback! I will pass it along :) I will also tell the team you'd like an easy way to give feedback from within the app.

We have been a member of 360 since inception, but have never seen a BETA badge.  We are VERY interested in the new Localization feature for translations.  HELP??

      Hello DickReynolds,

      Thanks for reaching out!

      • I understand you haven't encountered the BETA badge before in your account dashboard or when authoring courses. To confirm your environment, are you authoring in Rise 360 or Storyline 360?

So glad to hear your interest! I'd like to share our latest webinar, where you can learn more about what will be possible with Localization!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

btw, I just realized that I have been trying to reply for a few days now and apparently my FIRST NAME is not allowed in the Community...

Hey DickReynolds — ach, I'm so sorry about this! I think I can guess why that might have happened accidentally, and at the same time it absolutely should not be the case that your first name is flagged as not allowed in the community.

That said, quick gut check to help me troubleshoot for you—can you tell me what made you think your post was being flagged for that reason? Did you see an error message? Checking in with some of our team members here we're not seeing your posts showing up in our moderation filters, and it looks like this one did go through, as well as one from about a week ago. If you can tell me what's happening on your end that might help me get to the bottom of it. From there I can see if we need to work with our vendor platform to update any of our filters to be a bit more nuanced, but I want to make sure we've identified the problem correctly before we do that.

Lastly, I noticed you left a comment above that you're super interested in localization and that you're interested in getting some badge recognition for participating in beta programs. First up—we're not running an early-access for localization at the moment, but there will be some ways to participate more deeply with that new feature in the community when it does launch. Re: badges, I'll note that the community team is actually in the process of auditing our badging system—tagging in my colleague GingerSwart who may be interested in seeing your feedback on that, or connecting to hear more.

Interested to hear more from you about that auto-flagging, and let me know if there's anything else I can dig into for you!
