Accessibility vs. redundant text is something I have struggled with. On one hand, I do not want to have the exact text in the e-learning as what is being narrated. But I know that I have accessibility responsibilities for hearing and visual impairments. As a solution, I just include the Notes field as an option in the menu and make sure the text matches the exact narration.

- RachelLeigh8 years agoCommunity MemberThis is what I do too but rename the Notes tab to Transcript. I also like to include a downloadable PDF of the transcript in case someone wants to print it out if that's easier for a learner.
- AmberLarson5 years agoCommunity MemberErika, that is what we do - always have notes and if we have video we close caption it and they have to choose to open it. That option is provided in the instructions if needed.
