hi, I am creating a code of conduct training module and one slide I list the 6 VALUES such as Excellence, etc. I want the users to click on each value to reveal a short definition of each value, I thought this would be possible in selecting 'states', making visible the textbox that the value is written in and then creating another text box with the corresponding definition to appear, but hidden. This is not working, is this possible on SL360? if so how does one do this? or go to find out how to do it. thank-you Tracey
- Hi Tracey, your best bet would be to use layers rather than states for this type of interaction. I have created a similar course for company values and that was my process. Create a custom layer for each value, with any text, imagery etc. you want, then create a trigger to show each of these layers when the learner clicks on the corresponding value. Remember to add a 'close' button or similar to hide the layer and return to the main slide for ease of navigation.
