Why We Love Review 360 (And You Will, Too)

Articulate 360 includes Review 360, a web app that simplifies the entire process of collecting feedback from stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs). You can upload your Storyline 360 or Rise 360 course, share a link with reviewers, and then they can add their comments and feedback in context so you can see exactly what they are talking about. Review 360 is going to save you so much time!

Articulate CTO Arlyn Asch has some great suggestions on how you can simplify your course review process with Review 360. Take a look:

Simply publish your Storyline 360 or Rise content to Review 360. You can share the link with your reviewers to see how easy Review 360 makes it to gather, view, and manage feedback in one place.

What about getting the narration approved? About 80% of our SME feedback pertains to the words spoken -- not the images used.
  • Hi...New Ariculate Review user here. Has anyone else experienced issues in Review when typing comments/reviews? Some keystrokes do not appear unless you slow right down and use your keyboard like a typewriter! My SME who has reviewed has also experienced this, which is a little annoying. Would this be our computers' issue, or a known glitch?
    Thanks!

Uh oh, Aimee! I hope you're still not stuck in the stone age with this typewriter behavior, but let me know. It's not something I've run into or heard about from others...but if you and your team see it consistently, let me know what browser you're using to comment and if you can send me a Review Share link, I can also give it a try!
  • Currently, I am publishing to review for myself and my team. However, with multiple projects we will hand out edits to different instructors. We are all part of the same Articulate account but when they are finished they have to give me the story file and I have to re-publish back to review.

Are there plans to allow members of the same team account to be able to publish from their own software to a collective Articulate Review? This would be really helpful.

Recently, I've realized that a publish to Articulate Review is only viewable through sharing. I would love make published content viewable to my entire team without having to "share" to everyone. It seems this same issue exists with Team Slides within SL360. Does anyone have a solution?

Sounds like you're looking for something similar to Christopher! A shared Review account that you and your 360 Teammates could publish to and see other courses without using the Share option?

Yes; or simply a view once it has been shared. The added step of saving and referring back to email links for shared content is time consuming when we maintain over 300 different lessons.

Is there a way to search for a course in Review. I have lots of courses but it looks like there is not a way to find a course except to scroll and visually locate.

How does one export all comments into a pdf, to incorporate into our internal Management of Change process?

The online applications are great (Review, Rise, etc.)

Review certainly does make it easier to gather feedback. Plus it has a few options for viewing the feedback (course and feedback views).

Here are some suggestions to make it even better
    1. Being able to highlight exactly the area being commented on - When using a Rise course with 4-5 blocks in a lesson, the comments are default in chronological order. Many Rise blocks will build courses in a long scrolling format, that the oldest comments on the lesson will appear at the bottom where they normally would be applicable to the top of the lesson (if comments are made chronologically)
    2. Linking Review Comments to source file - I couldn't figure a way to transfer comments into my source file. My work around was to have my course open (in Rise or Storyline) and have a 2nd window open with Review, and then continually scroll both windows to see comments in Review and make changes in the editor.

There were some other small things, but I can't recall right now.
I am very happy with Review (and other apps). I understand they will all improve over time and just get better.

I think my other comments were about Rise and some different formatted blocks (I think Image and text options - no option for image on right and text on left). I get limiting base layouts make the programming very easy and for fast production less options = quicker turnaround!

Great work. I look forward to us all growing together!
  • Superb ! The only thing I am a little disapointed about is the Share Link... I am just wondering why this is not possible to just chose people in our Team (given the fact that one is running Articulate 360 Teams), instead of having to cut/paste the link to an email... Seems to me a little Old School...
