OK, after what seems like hundreds of hours of work, I finally finished my redo of Keith Freeman's Hub and Spoke game for our purposes. The published version is at
http://openbibleministries.com/03hsbapgame.php.
I know it took me so long because I was learning as I was working. I would get stuck and then have to research how to get out of the predicament. But it all came together! Yea!
I moved the background and feedback slides to the masters. That really helped. But other things I didn't know yet kept me working on each individual slide. Now I REALLY know what Tom keeps talking about in his blog posts when he says use the master if it affects multiple slides! Excellent advice!!
I took out the Java Script triggers since I don't know how to do the leader board, etc. But it still seems to work fine. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
I added the Avatars to each question slide, and added hover over hints using markers on some question slides.

I think it turned out great! Keith did a great job with his original game but it's fair to say this is not a beginner's project.
Thanks for sharing your version of the project. I just updated the recap (this page) to include your demo!- JohnWagner10 years agoCommunity MemberThanks David,
From a beginner I have to say...no it's not a beginner's project. I really bit off a lot! But I'm glad I did it. I learned a LOT! Thanks for posting it. :)
