@Pamela - Welcome to the community. As you noticed, not all designs/interactions will work for mobile devices. Strictly from the standpoint of the weekly challenge, it wasn't a requirement to make the interactions mobile compliant. However, I can understand your frustrations with not being able to view some content on you tablet.
With that being said, I wouldn't assume that means we (those of us who participated in this week's challenge) aren't aware of how mobile technology is changing the ways we have to develop content. For some individuals, creating mobile content has yet to become a need for their clients/organizations. In those instances, developing strictly for the desktop is sufficient.
I think Storyline does a good job with allowing its users develop content that is optimized for mobile delivery, and it's getting better with each update. You may have not noticed that in this week's submissions, as it wasn't a requirement of the challenge. I hope that makes sense.
If you're still looking for additional advice on developing mobile content, I would highly suggest posting this in the main forums. I'm sure you'll get plenty of suggestions there.
