- FelixSugdenCommunity MemberDavid this is super cool sir!
With the modules on the bookmark slide in scene 1 how were you able to change the image in the states tab from 1 to exlamation mark to tick?
This has already been an amazing help! Appreicate your efforts.- Thanks so much, Felix! I'm working on a proper tutorial w/ videos right now, but here's a quick overview of how the state changes work: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/5e757985-4e82-49d1-9526-cfd245f9eea8/review

- MarkMitrioneCommunity MemberI've setup a similar menu, got the variables and triggers setup too.
However, when I click on the menu items, the state changes immediately. So that split second before the menu changes to the slide, the state changes to its visited state (and a tick appears).
I'd prefer the state change to happen only once the learner returns to the menu. Any ideas?- Hi Mark - the key is not to use Storyline's built-in visited states. Instead, use a custom state. You can name it anything you like. The advantage to using custom states here is that you control when the menu item changes states. Take a look at the source file to see how I set it up.
