- Hey Mary! Glad to hear that worked.
When you open the file, take a look at the Timeline and locate the "frame" object. If you click the eye icon, you can "hide" the graphic. Hiding the graphic lets you select each of the step tabs below. From there, you can edit the text for the tabs.
After you edit the tabs, turn the frame object back on by clicking the closed eye icon. The frame graphic is also found in each of the slide layers, so don't forget to turn it off when editing the tabs on each slide layer.
Let me know how that helps. I can put a quick tutorial together tomorrow if you think it will help. - Mary-MontgomeryCommunity MemberHi David,
I have used this template and love it. We are working to be 508 compliant. For some reason when I publish it I cannot get JAWS to pick up anything. Do you know why this might be happening? Let me know if you want to take a look at the file.
Thanks,
Mary - Mary-MontgomeryCommunity MemberDavid,
I really like this interaction and would like to use it but after downloading the file, I find that I am unable to edit it, Occasionally when I have downloaded templates from the community I have been asked it I want to make them writable but was not prompted to do that with this file. Can you help?
Thanks,
Mary - Hi Mary - Sorry about the download issues. I just zipped the file so that should help. Can you try downloading again? If that doesn't help, I'll post the file to a different server and send you the link.
David - Mary-MontgomeryCommunity MemberThanks David, I downloaded again and this time I did get a prompt to make the template writable. The 5-Step Action Interaction title is now editable but the other text such as the action title on each layer and the Step 1, 2, etc. cannot be changed. Perhaps the step text was not meant to be changed. Not sure if I am missing something in getting this to work for me.
- Mary-MontgomeryCommunity MemberThat was it - thanks so much!
- CeciliaBlancoCommunity MemberGreat!! thank you

- JoanThornCommunity Memberi am a brand new user and want to include this template in my new project. how can i put the template in my project? Or do I have to recreate it from scratch.
Sorry for such a silly question, but I am trying to learn. - Sabinede-Kamps1Community MemberFrom within your storyline file -> click Insert -> New Slide -> Import -> Storyline -> navigate to where you saved the template -> doubelick it -> import.
Hope this helps.
