Storyline: Sleek Character Study Template

Here's a sleek little template I created in Storyline 360 for getting learners up to speed on the backstories of a small cast of characters in a scenario. It features 3 info buttons with transparent backgrounds which, when clicked, trigger a lightbox slide profiling the selected individual. You can customize this with your own colors, images, and you can add the lightboxed slides to the course player so learners can reference them as needed.

Explore this project.

  • I'm not able to open the source file on Storyline 2 - Update 1. It asks for latest update.
What big difference it makes in 2 different updates, it should at least run a file?
Why don't you have just a patch and not a complete package (273 Mb) for every update?
I'm working in a big organization and to update the complete package, I need to raise min. 5 requests with strong justification for manual installation.
My manager's asking me to move to another tool if this is a recurring activity.

For every update, complete package download and installation is not the easiest way to me, It would be great if you produce update patches instead.
Seriously not happy with this update process.

    Love it!

Just wondering the names of the fonts you've used for the title and subtitle.

Looks familiar but I can't pinpoint the actual font name.

Hi Natalie. My apologies for being so late to reply. Apparently I wasn't subscribed to this thread so your post wasn't on my radar.

The font I used for the title and subtitle are Bebas Neue - bold for the title and regular for the sub: http://www.cufonfonts.com/en/font/35/bebas-neue

      Hope you enjoy the template!
  • I can't open this as I have a dialog box informing me it can not be opened as this may have been created in an earlier version - but this has prompted an idea.Thank you for sharing your content and efforts.
  • I'm having trouble with the lightbox slide opening as well. Does it have to be in the same scene?

      A Very Good Morning Katherine,

No, lightboxes can be stored in a separate scene or the same scene in my version of Articulate [1.52.25156.0].

      Very best
