Hi everyone!
Here's a simple interaction block I created for a Rise course about Trauma-Informed care. Previous to this block they are introduced to the concept that learning can't take place until a person feels both safe and connected. This block then helps them visualize the concept.
All the figures are cutouts.

Great use of sliders w/ cutouts, Karole.
How did you create your cutout graphics and pulsing lightbulb effect?
How did you create your cutout graphics and pulsing lightbulb effect?
- KaroleDawson-253 years agoCommunity MemberThe two batteries and the lightbulb are just outlines with no fill. I created those in PowerPoint just as you show how to do above under "How Does the Effect Work." Behind the two batteries, I used state changes that show a bar with increasing heights as you move along the slider. Then for the light bulb, I used a GIF of a light flickering. The GIF stays hidden until the slider reaches that highest value.
Using the GIF was a gamechanger because I didn't have to create the flicker effect. Since it's a GIF, it's always flickering but you just don't see it because it's hidden until the final value is reached on the slider.
