I wish I had seen this e-learning challenge when it first posted! I created an entire course around this topic using Storyline and Camtasia entitled "Producing Audio for Multimedia".
The course describes some best practices for recording, editing, and mixing audio. The idea was to create a bonafide resource for our employees and partners to have access to. Enjoy!

Hi Matt - I'd be happy to add your project to the recap. Can you double check the link to verify it's working correctly? I've been trying to load the page for a while now but keep receiving a timeout error.
- MattMascolo9 years agoCommunity MemberAh yes - that was the URL for our protected LMS. I have updated the link to the public version of the course. The course should load now.
Thanks for the prompt reply.- DavidAnderson9 years agoStaffGot it! That's a really great overview of audio essentials, Matt!
The section on basic effects and filters should be popular w/ most course designers. Nicely done!
I updated the recap to include your presentation: https://community.articulate.com/articles/audio-recording-tips#MattMascolo
