Here's my contribution. This example shows two photos of a football match at Craven Cottage between Fulham and Birmingham City separated by 67 years.
I've taken a simple slider approach which changes the state the main image every time the slider variable changes. I've also added a crowd sound effect so it may take a little while to load (by some stroke of luck sourced from Craven Cottage too: www.freesfx.co.uk).
The photos were taken from the Guardian website (http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/series/photography-then-and-now) which has a fantastic selection of then and now pics and quizzes that are very handy for anybody else looking to have a crack at this challenge.

Cool, that's what I did with my Mercedes Interaction. Love the audio, gives it a human touch!
