Hi everyone!
This is my first time participating in a challenge! I'm pretty pleased that I set a timeframe for myself for this and stuck to it.
In Canada the MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) ad campaigns are pretty powerful and iconic. I drew some inspiration from a commercial that ran from about the late 1980s into the 90s (and maybe even later).
This eLearning piece would be so much better with audio (engine running and crash sound), but I didn't get that far today. I might add it later.

- Ron_Katz3 years agoCommunity MemberNice work. I like how the slide gets blurrier as you raise the BAC and the broken windshield (windscreen) once you reach the max.
The only suggestion I have is to show rising BAC digitally, or have the slider based on number of alcoholic beverages consumed.
Of course, your suggestions for SFX would add to it as well.
I am so happy you decided to participate in your first ELC. Keep challenging yourself.- AndiMartens3 years agoCommunity MemberThanks, Ron! I'll have to explore how to do that. I like the idea of making the fill animation more smooth/natural.
- PeterMercier3 years agoCommunity MemberThis was such a cool idea. Ron's feedback is spot on. The only other additional note I might have is to either lengthen the duration of the text information or add a user option (button or other) for moving on to the next information bit. I missed some of the first paragraph, which is totally my fault because I was thinking about how cool the concept was. But allowing the user to control that aspect of the navigation in contrast to automatically moving along based on the timeline might be helpful for some. By some, of course, I mean me. Well done!
