The blurring really helps to make the text pop. A small challenge is that, in this case, the picture is important, because you are describing a particular mountain location. By blurring, the slide becomes less informational, in this singular case.
If I were talking about a specific place and I was calling the learners attention to it, I might use a glassmorphism or gradient transparent box effect to make the text more legible and leave the photo as is or maybe just slightly out of focus.

Thanks for the feedback, Ron. It makes a lot of sense. I'm going to try again with a different image/topic.
