Hi David!
Ha, I missed the deadline. But since it's still technically this week, I'm cramming this one in. Thanks for asking how's it going in YTube. I thought I'd reply with a technical WIP. This project is an integrated WebGL app within Storyline 3 for Biology simulation. The model is based and retopologized from actual photogrammetry source. However, the mechanics and animation were aesthetically created.
Cheers, Rick

Good to see you again, Richard. It's never too late for one of your demos: https://community.articulate.com/articles/step-graphics-in-elearning#RichardHill
What did you use to create the model? The subtle animation is a really nice touch.

Created the toad in ZBrush and Blender with a combination of photogrammetry and re-sculpting. Rigged it up, and painstakingly coded some callbacks to make it move. I put in a hacky preloader--the fuzzy spinning layer to wait until the scene finishes loading in the WebObject. Storyline 360 is absolutely the BEST solution for an LMS communicating frontend for me.
I've been tinkering with this method off and on for a year and I think I've got a pipeline for some mindblowing interactives to come. This was really just a test, but nope I ain't through with Storyline yet, and it is good to be back. ; )
