Hello Heroes.
Happy Birthday, ELH Challenge
Here is my demo.
It's great, I learned a lot of tips on how to use a single variable with multiple sliders. So, I focused on that. I'll use it again for sure.

- CarrieGauthier-5 years agoCommunity MemberWow, this is beautiful! I love everything about it!
- ThierryEMMANUEL5 years agoCommunity MemberThank you Carrie.
- IsaacChavez-2575 years agoCommunity MemberThat was great use of the slider - and super smooth. It mirrors a lot of the animations you see in the news. I'd really like to see how you did it. Is the Storyline file available anywhere to view? GREAT work!
- ThierryEMMANUEL5 years agoCommunity MemberThank you, Isaac. My file is pretty messy. Give me a few hours to clean up before sharing it.
- ThierryEMMANUEL5 years agoCommunity MemberHi Isaac.
If you're still interested in the file, here's.

- DCopenhaver5 years agoCommunity MemberTips for making the smooth transition would be great. Nice design.
- ThierryEMMANUEL5 years agoCommunity MemberThanks.
I'm not sure I understand what you really mean by "smooth transition". Maybe the way I gradually reveal the colored curves on the first slide, and the other information on the second.
In both cases, I'm using a primary cursor (the one with years) with its own variable. And all the other cursors use this same variable, so they move at the same time, but not the same length.
For example, on the first slide there's a slider with a really big white thumb (on a transparent track) sliding to the right and revealing the background and curves. And four vertical sliders (with "India" "China" images etc. on the thumbs) on the right also using the same variable: this country run is the most visual and important information on this slide, to my notice.
Same idea on the second slide: the main slider with the main variable is the bottom slider. On the right, the very large white thumb with an arrow of a transparent slider slides up and reveals the scale of the growing population. Finally, there is a dial in the middle, also using the same variable to rotate when I manipulate the main slider.
I hope to be clear.

- JeffreyRiley-9e5 years agoCommunity MemberI agree with the comments that the smoothness of the lines moving with the thumbnail was excellent. What does the LDC stand for?
- ThierryEMMANUEL5 years agoCommunity MemberThank you, Jeffrey.
According the UN : "Least developed countries (LDCs) are low-income countries confronting severe structural impediments to sustainable development. They are highly vulnerable to economic and environmental shocks and have low levels of human assets.
There are currently 47 countries on the list of LDCs which is reviewed every three years."
