I've only done one escape room so I think I captured the spirit of this challenge, even though I hate being trapped. My submission is based on a debate I had with friends on vacation last week--would you store your passport in a hotel safe? I say no--tape it to your body.
This was fun to build--I tried to give it a different look and feel than I normally use. And I leveraged a marker technique Tom and David showed a couple weeks ago in a Live session (the one that used the Peloton bike). It definitely works better with a mouse because I use a hover to show my clues--if you are looking at it on a phone, press the screen to find the clues.
Please let me know if you find any glitches entering the secret code--it was a little fussy for me. I'm happy to load the source file if anyone wants it.

Excellent work! After finishing the game, I realized that there wasn't a timer but I was running room to room not to miss the flight :)
- Rats, I didn't even think of a timer! I was so busy making sure my number variable worked that I forgot to add some drama. I might go back and revise it now. Thanks for the idea! the clues were pretty easy.
