Jackie - You make a great point about people using a new technology or new whiz bang effect without thinking about if it's really teaching anything, or if it's the best way to convey the message.
Nicholas - I liked your metaphor of matching the scratch to the itch. Also great point letting the pictures do the speaking. Let me know when the 3D virtual reality e-learning beta testing starts.
Nancy - You make an interesting point about following the rules mostly, but knowing when it makes sense to break them. It's very true what you said about rather than designing one module for a whole bunch of different devices, it's probably better to have different content and experiences created that work best for the different devices (For Ex: Smartphones and other mobile devices).
Richard - I really appreciated your focus on defining, designing, and measuring success based on specific business objectives. You make an interesting point about using high visual contrast in your design for mobile devices if they're going to be used outside in bright sunlight.
Rebecca - Cool idea about guiding learners on how to figure things out for themselves rather than just telling them.
Daniel A. - I agree that flexibility is an important consideration in e-learning design. A lot of times we'll design the navigation to give the learner the option to leave the course at any time or to move to different sections in any order they choose. Also, good point about not giving up because your work isn't as professional or artistic as a seasoned veteran. It takes time to get there. That's why I participate in the challenges, because I know I need to get better.
