Showing steps or a procedure is a common use of animated gifs. Here's one I use for some of our workshops. This is on the beer brewing process. The gifs were extracted from a video.

When you say "extracted" what does that mean exactly? This is such a great example.- AlexanderSalas6 years agoCommunity MemberOne way is to use Photoshop and File>Import>Video Frames to Layers
- JodiSansone6 years agoCommunity MemberThank you. So much to learn!
- TomKuhlmann6 years agoStaffI use Screen2Gif and insert the video which creates frames that I can extract to use for the video. I did a blog post on this a while back

- JulieGroscla9086 years agoCommunity MemberHi Tom,
Did you use Rise ? Such a stylish example. I really like the isometric view and hotspots !!- TomKuhlmann6 years agoStaff@Julie: yes, this was built in Rise, but the credit for the graphics (which is why it looks good) goes to Twisted Toast. I made the gifs from this marketing video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV_dnISv7Jk&feature=youtu.be
