This seemed like a good job for Rise. I love that Rise labeled graphic. And special kudos to my husband Carl who was a good sport.

- Ron_Katz4 years agoCommunity MemberThat was so cool, Jodi. Thanks for taking us out with you and Carl.
- Samuel4 years agoCommunity MemberI could use the hike and sunshine but I'm in Texas, which right now looks nothing like Sedona. Clever use of the labelled graphic interaction. Good seeing you again :)
- JodiSansone4 years agoCommunity MemberThat ice sounds terrible! Since I don't fly anywhere anymore I don't even know what's happening in the weather. I used to obsess about the weather when I had to travel through it. Stay safe!
- EricChamberl1864 years agoCommunity MemberJodi, thank you for such a lovely visit. It is always happy hour somewhere ;)
- JenniferEdgerto4 years agoCommunity MemberWhat a unique presentation Jodi! I spent many summers at my grandparents' house in Arizona and my great aunt lived in Sedona. Haven't been since being a kid, but I have not forgotten the terror of being a back-seat passenger on the drive over Schnebly Hill.
- JodiSansone4 years agoCommunity MemberOoh, that's a good one. I don't have a car that will make that drive but there are a couple cool hikes that follow the jeep trail.
- JenniferEdgerto4 years agoCommunity MemberThis was back in the 70's and we were in a regular car. It was terrifying.

BTW seeing this reminded me of an old desert survival role play I used for team building in the last century. 20 objects for survival in the Sonora desert had to be placed in order of importance. The trick was not to take the salt tablets and to consider getting water from the Saguaro cacti. I don't know if this is possible or not!- JodiSansone4 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Nick--I like those types of challenges because it's fun to see how creatively people think. Up here in the high desert we don't have the Saguaros, but they seem like they would hold plenty of water. Since I hike by myself here I only go on trails where I have a phone signal so I can call for help. :) I'll go on a more remote trail if someone is with me, and then the essentials are a phone, water, sunscreen, a snack, sunglasses, a hat, good hiking shoes and a small first aid kit in case we get bit by a snake or bee. It's not exactly a survivalist's list. :)

I agree with Nick it had that desert survival feel to it. I had a board game like that. If you did not make it out you were Rendered Not Survived! - carrietmills4 years agoCommunity MemberThis was so much fun! What a cool way to incorporate a number of maps and perspectives. Thanks for sharing!
- ThierryEMMANUEL4 years agoCommunity MemberHi Jodi.
Beautiful images.
I am a huge fan of Tony Hillerman's novels. I'm reading "Skeleton Man" right now. I know it's not the same place (looked at on a map) but it looks a lot like the settings I imagined. Funny coincidence.
