Here's an interactive Color by Numbers activity designed to distinguish between odd and even numbers. The concept is pretty simple but it required a ton of triggers to fill in the picture based on whether or not you had selected the correct color! I also used sound effects to give the user instant feedback on their selections.

I also wanted to cross-post my entry for ELHC 296 on using hotspots and invisible buttons since it was another coloring activity. It was designed similarly to my entry for this week using hotspots, variables, and states.

Loved painting the dino hotspot one too! - SamuelApata-95b4 years agoCommunity MemberMy little niece had a lot of fun with this one. The trumpet sound was a cool addition :)
- KOsunero4 years agoCommunity MemberReally happy to hear that your niece enjoyed this! Thank you both for the QA, Samuel :)
- CarrieGauthier-4 years agoCommunity MemberReally love both of these examples. The paint by number one brought me right back to grade school.
- Ron_Katz4 years agoCommunity MemberI agree with everyone else. Both examples were great. Using the odd and even numbers for a paint by number was inspired. The only thing that wasn't explained is which color to paint which numbers (however that became quickly obvious based on the sound fx)
