Good evening! So excited to share another project with you all! This week, I wanted the project to be a bit more instructional than my first two, and I gained a lot of inspiration from looking at all of your projects! So, I landed on making a smoothie. I am relatively happy with it, but ran into one issue. If you check it out, you'll notice on the milk pouring slides that the pouring animation is jacked up. I'm still learning Adobe and Storyline and could not figure out for the life of me how to get an animation from After Effects into the presentation with a transparent background! I read through some old discussions and tried to troubleshoot, but eventually I had to wave the white flag, haha. I ended up needing to use a patchy workaround, and for one of the last slides when you actually blend the smoothie, I had planned on another After Effects animation but had to settle for the clip after I couldn't figure out the milk animation. I'm sure there is a way, but no matter what I tried, any time I'd try to import the animation, the background was black despite the fact that I changed the project settings on AE to have a transparent background and it appears transparent in Adobe. Sorry for the long message, but if anyone has any solutions I'd definitely appreciate it! Thanks so much!

Perhaps sometime in the future we will have a working link. Have you posted a future request?- TrevorNewsome3 years agoCommunity MemberAh, make sense. That would be nice to be able to do one day, for sure! How/where would I post a request? Sorry, I am still new to all of this!

I went back to look at the milk pouring animation and I did not notice a black background on it, although I may have clicked something too quick on my second try, and the milk did not stop pouring. I'm not sure how to work that out yet, but I applaud you for importing from After Effects. Learning the Adobe Creative Suite is on my list of things to work toward this year and I may have questions when I get around to it. lol- TrevorNewsome3 years agoCommunity MemberI appreciate that, Yvonne! It was a lot of fun to make! I ran into that same issue the second time around with the animation too, unfortunately. Since I couldn't get After Effects to come through, I had to convert the animation to a gif, so there must be an issue if you go through a second time. Ugh! Learning After Effects and Adobe has been a lot of fun. I'm sure you'll enjoy it when you get around to it!
