My submission attempts to minimize the cognitive load of silly image descriptions: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8000308/Courses/ELC%20126/story.html
- JenniferSader9 years agoCommunity MemberGreat example. I have never been willing to bother with those matching-style tables.
With Storyline, those letter-codes are especially ridiculous, when it's just as easy to use icons to indicate a mouseover point for more info. - DanielaSlater9 years agoCommunity MemberYou got that right Joseoh! I taught design principles in college and one of the principles is Proximity which is used when putting things that belong together like your labels to the applicable area. Great textbook by Robin Williams (not the late actor).
Here is the pdf version of the book: http://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0ahUKEwiitNPK_JvMAhUEsoMKHVsDDLMQFggaMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdiegopiovesan.files.wordpress.com%2F2010%2F07%2Flivro_-_the_non-designers_desi.pdf&usg=AFQjCNGoLRqeskMRToSESGGHX3WRriG75g&sig2=vPTYU16RoOU3xoJl-lWbdg - DanSweigert9 years agoCommunity MemberNice illustration and comparison Joseph!

- LindaLorenzetti9 years agoSuper HeroA beautiful example Joseph. My only problem was that I chose the good example first and had to reload the course to see the bad example.
- BrendaTyedmers9 years agoCommunity MemberGreat example of spatial contiguity principle, Joseph. Now I have a hankering for for some Kate and Leo! Or shuffleboard at the very least. Good thing it's Friday!
