Recently, my company adopted Axonify as our learning experience platform which naturally led to a reconsideration of the scope, sequence, format and length of our content. Our new hire orientation course was approximately 30 minutes long in a single course. Taking a microlearning approach, I've make the pivot to Fasterclasses for each segment. The first module covers company culture, vision, values and goals.
The redesign uses Rise as a shell and has a Storyline interaction that simulates the company's e-commerce app so that learners can "shop" for the company's cultural elements.
Companion events for this module include a monthly live workshop to deep dive into the culture and practical applications and an undated planner for the welcome kit that includes the daily questions introduced in this module, monthly goal setting, weekly goal setting and daily planning.
