- It means you'll need to come up with something new for this one:-)
- OwenHoltSuper HeroDone.
EQ Course with a Storline block at the start to run some date JavaScript and a block later in the course to determine your EQ. Enjoy!
https://360.articulate.com/review/content/6213e9b5-46d2-4755-9f43-1cf4995cbb49/review- I'm going to refresh your example for the next 364 days to verify you set things up correctly.
- JodiSansoneCommunity MemberTerrific example, Owen. Before I spend time on my demo, do you (or David) have any secret on how to avoid having the "play" screen pop up over a storyline block when it loads? I would use this feature more if I could figure it out. I'm rusty on this.
- OwenHoltSuper HeroDon't put any media on your opening SL slide and you should be ok. If you do use media (sound effects, music, etc.) add a "pass through" opening slide that is blank with 0 media. Jump to your "true" opening slide "at start" of the timeline for the landing "pass through" slide. I'm told this usually does the trick.
Keep in mind, however, that there isn't a way to remove the play button when viewing the course on mobile. Articulate is reviewing this presently (I'm told).- JodiSansoneCommunity MemberThank you. Of course I had all those things on my first slide. :)
- Owen's correct re: the play button. It's unavoidable on mobile but you can hide it by using a static slide on your first slides
- JodiSansoneCommunity MemberThank you....I think I'm going to convert an old challenge file into Rise. I'll rework it using my favorite Rise block (labeled graphic) and I'll also insert it as a Storyline block to see how it comes out.
- KatelinJordanCommunity MemberNicely done! I am going to have to think on this one!
- Looking forward to your example, Katelin! If you get stuck or need a kickstart, use one of the placeholder templates in Rise and build your Storyline file around the imagery shown in the example. You don't need to rework the content. Just build from the structure that's already in place. Just an idea. You can do anything you like.
- KatelinJordanCommunity MemberMy company banned Rise as they only want to use one tool [insert eye-roll here]. I have not gotten as much experience as I could as a result. It is pretty straight forward though!
