Re: Using Webcam Video with Picture-in-Picture to Connect with Learners #410

I created a webcam-style video for this challenge and though I didn't include many details, I found it to be a valuable practice experience. Webcam-style content is not something I typically produce, so it was a good opportunity to hone my skills and challenge myself. Great ELH challenge.

I would consider speaking at the Articulate User Conference.

I hadn't thought of using Camtasia like that. Thank you for sharing your technique.

Great work on this project! My only feedback (if I may) is that the music is quite loud and it can be hard to hear the voiceover at times. The WCAG specifies that background music should be 20dB lower than any foreground speech.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m only planning to use this for the ELH challenge so I’m not too worried about the WCAG police. I appreciate the feedback though.

Cool tutorial! I use the "Emphasize" audio effect for the voiceover vs bkg music clash, but now Scott made think of whether that effect drops 20dB or less : O
