Hey everyone,
It took a while, but finally I can share my contribution of this weekly challenge with you. I already posted it on twitter, but the animations were not smooth enough. So here is the link to my contribution;
http://www.googledrive.com/host/0B2EIFL8vlRrpN3d0a3pLNXhncXc
Let me also share some background information about the process that I went through during the design.
I got inspired by the timeline callouts from Final Cut (editing software that I use a lot for my EduChunks http://vimeo.com/79029285 ). Although I direct dove in the process of design two things were the most important for me to accomplish. The animations had to be as smooth as possible and I wanted enough space for content like tekst en images.
Well my biggest challenge in this was the design of the animation. I first tried to get it done with layers and maks in Storyline, but the output of them were very blocky. Because of this I choose to design most of the animations with motion and import them in Storyline as a video file. The rest of the design was very easy.
I also viewed your 'ideas' and I must say that it looks great....again. Nice to know that there are more users that like to combine their knowledge with these challenges.
Jeff,
The thing that I like the most of your contribution is the background and that the content is showing up at the bottom of the timeline. Great job!
Anna,
In your contribution I like the animation of the timeline very much. Besides this I really like the fact that you als take into account that there are users of tablets. Very nice!
Thx
