Hi everyone,
My demo this week is inspired by my dog, Roxy. Roxy is a Hurricane Dorian survivor from the Bahamas and I adopted her last October. Her family lost everything in the storm and had to give her up. At the age of 10, she lost the only family she ever knew.
Fate intervened and I found her story on social media by accident. Through the efforts of a rescue organization in the Bahamas and one in Vermont, Roxy made an epic journey of 1,300 miles by sea, air, and land to become the newest member of my family. The happy news is I have since made contact with her first family and they are able to now follow her new adventures on social media.
For this challenge, I've decided to showcase the other lost dogs of the Bahamas, referred to as Potcakes. You'll see Roxy make an appearance as the "Health" model. Roxy is an Australian Shepherd/Potcake mix. I hope you enjoy learning about them.
