A few notes:
- On your first play, try to start the game without reading the rules
- During the game, you should hear a low click each time you change the speed
- Passing through each 100mph zone will cause a sound effect to play
- When you near a certain speed, an alarm will sound
- If you break the sound barrier, you will hear a 'sonic boom', composed of multiple SFX played at once
- When the countdown clock reaches 10 seconds, it will beep
- If you run out of time, you will hear a downbeat tune
- If you make it to the end, you will hear an upbeat tune
- Note the SFX in the closing scene, bringing to life what is otherwise a very simple animation
- The background music will loop for the duration of the game

was this just motion paths, and variables? I could be completely wrong.
I am nowhere in this yet but would love to me. David or John is there anything in the resources, that will help with this?

- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroHi Ciara - yes this is essentially motion paths and variables, with a custom thumb and state changes on the slider too.
This demo uses the same techniques as my demo for the recent accordion challenge, which I wrote about in this blog:
https://engagebraintrain.com/accordion-to-legend/
If I get to DevLearn this year I'll likely run a session deconstructing these 'heavily layered' demos further.
I covered similar ground at last year's conference and you can see those presentations and resources here:
