Bonjour Heroes.
Using English audio content is always my kryptonite. As a reminder of last year, here's a new take. Thanks so much to my guest for coming.

- NickRussell2 years agoCommunity MemberThis is great fun. It always amuses me how every language has its own version of animal sounds - some of the traditional English ones are completely unidentifiable. I was reminded of this comic song from the late 1950's by Flanders and Swann. Donald Swann was the second fiddle to his partner Michael Flanders in their stage act, working mainly as his piano accompanist. He had studied at Oxford and was an accomplished linguist and sang this song to highlight Greek animal sounds:

How do you get all those famous guests ? :D- ThierryEMMANUEL2 years agoCommunity MemberThank you all.
Thank you, Julie. I asked politely and Jodi agreed graciously.
- JodiSansone2 years agoCommunity MemberLOL! Loved it! Since the rooster is a national symbol of France I will accept Co-co-rico vs. Cock-a-doodle-do from now on! I really liked how you incorporated some of the feedback/pushback on the sounds as all our languages articulate or spell out animal sounds differently. Thanks for thinking of me and for the shiny trophy!
