Are You a Good Tipper?

I was inspired to do this demo after I was asked to give a tip to a cashier who rang up my order for a bottle of water...that I had to get myself.

- Samuel2 years agoCommunity MemberHi Jodi, glad to have you back! Does tipping even when I pick my own pizza make me a good tipper? Cool demo as always.
- JodiSansone2 years agoCommunity MemberLOL! I'm conflicted on your tipping question! I probably wouldn't tip if I am picking it up myself...but if there is a chip jar at the counter when I picked it up I would probably drop a couple dollars into it if I liked the restaurant. Glad to be back. I'm adjusting. I can only sit and work for 15 minutes at a time, and then I need to break. It's an adjustment. :)
- Samuel2 years agoCommunity MemberOh no. We appreciate your demos even more :)
- ThierryEMMANUEL2 years agoCommunity MemberI agree with Samuel, Jodi. Effective demonstration in such a short time. A lesson. As you may know, it's not customary in France to leave a tip. A long time ago, in Quebec City, I left a tip. The waitress looked at my coin and said: "Keep your change for the telephone". I'll never forget that shame.
- Jonathan_Hill2 years agoSuper HeroThis is sweet, Jodi. As a Brit I don't get tipping on everyday transactions - and don't get me started on sales tax not being displayed on the ticket.
I can see why you'd like the number variable to display to two decimal places here. Bit behind with my blog, but it will describe a method for that. (See my comments further down the board.) - AshiTandon2 years agoCommunity MemberPeople pleasers find it challenging to refrain from leaving tips :P Still detest it though.
