The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali

When I saw this challenge the first thing I asked myself was "What is something interesting enough to label?" I was inspired by Carrie Gauthier who said a couple challenges back that she likes Dali (vs. Picasso) and Alexander Salas who used video in his markers demo to kick us off. So here's my tribute to Carrie, Alexander and Dali--the video I embedded is kind of hilarious as it alludes to how this painting is perfect for an album cover or college dorm room. Dali would be amused, I'm sure. :)

I thought this was beautifully designed and I learned a lot. Also, I liked how you included the the 'clear markers' option - I'll be sure to use that in the future!
- JodiSansone5 years agoCommunity MemberThank you Preethi and Esther--I added that option to remove the markers because it bothered me to put markers on a masterpiece...but Dali had a playful sense so maybe he wouldn't mind so much. Picasso and Velasquez would not approve! :)
