Bonjour Heroes.
Yesterday evening, I read Dave's presentation and I asked to myself this philosophical question: Is a timeline (or time of life) necessarily linear? This morning, the answer was here: Hell no, obviously! So, here is a meandering timeline with a zig-zag cursor. Fast completion. No content. Just the template. File.story into the Review comment. NB : the car is electric of course.

- Ron_Katz2 years agoCommunity MemberThis was great, Thierry. I especially like the detail of the reflection in the pond.
- ThierryEMMANUEL2 years agoCommunity MemberThanks Ron. I feel something special inside me every time I stop by the water (sea, river, pond). And now, you make me realize that I unconsciously did something special when my car passed by the water. Strange, isn't it ? :)
- ZynthiaMartinez2 years agoCommunity MemberHa! I didn't see that the first time around. I had to go back and check. Very cool.
- AnneLynch2 years agoCommunity MemberSo, how did you get the car to pivot? I was trying states, and different motion paths, but it wasn't starting the next one. even with a trigger to change the state after animation.
- ThierryEMMANUEL2 years agoCommunity MemberHi Ciara. I'm not sure I understand your question. The car pivots because I chose "orient the shape to the path" in the motion path options. And the next hidden cursor (with the car in the right position) gets its normal state at the end of that path. Did I answer that? It's all in the .story file downloadable in the comment of the Review. As I wrote, this was a quick realization and the car seen from the side is certainly not the best choice to make a realistic turn.
- AnneLynch2 years agoCommunity MemberOk, yes that answer's it.
- ZynthiaMartinez2 years agoCommunity MemberI like the format! When I've done timelines, screen real estate has been an issue- and this solves that. Very creative! Thanks for sharing!
- HillaSchlegel2 years agoCommunity MemberA great trip to learn a few languages, Thierry. Well done!
- jessicasusila2 years agoCommunity MemberThis was great, Thierry! It was interesting to drag the car to move it along the 'timeline'. And the car reflection in the pond is great.
