I would get to view the recent videos tomorrow, just needed to rush up something and put out my submission tonight!
My blog post will come later, but this challenge has achieved its aim... exploring the issues around webcam and screencast technology in e-Learning. Just a few challenges I had while doing this..
1. The right environment for video recording... luckily, I eventually found a brief period this morning when it was quiet; its usually noisy an at night, its dark!
2. As much as I loved my Sony Vaio laptop, I suddenly saw the poor quality webcam video it produced with a 2Mpixel camera. I was really disappointed. Any suggestions on improving that? I thought of purchasing this USB mobile laptop cameras, anyone with experience using them?
3. I suddenly noticed Camtasia also gave me plenty of problems. First a blur video, then the video didn't fit the screen completely. This is my 3rd or 4th project with camtasia and I've noticed this same proplems each time. Any suggestions? What softwares do you use for screen recording and their features?
4. Finally, Daniel is not a talker but more a writer. I also am not good at marketing ...so my video lacks that convincing power...
Anyway despite these, I didn't want to miss out of the learning, experience and the fun of course!
