I made over my US Passport Application demo in Storyline 2, using a (jet plane on the runway) slider to access "zoomed" details and animations - so it seemed like a good one for this challenge.

- Montsea9 years agoSuper HeroI think this is such a creative and effective way of helping people to complete applications and other complicated paperwork. Very nice, Jackie!
- JackieVanNice9 years agoSuper HeroThanks so much, Montse! Dan keeps telling me about yours so I need to go find it... I can't believe how many entries there are this week!
- DavidAnderson9 years agoStaffSuper sweet example of interactive documents! We'll focus specifically on that topic sometime this year:-)
Here's the recap with your example: https://community.articulate.com/articles/zooming-pictures#JackieVanNice- JackieVanNice9 years agoSuper HeroThanks, David - and what a recap! I'm looking forward to seeing them alllll...
- VeronicaBudnika9 years agoSuper HeroWe would live in a better world of all government agencies had demos like this to help people fill out forms! This is a terrific example Jackie :)
- JackieVanNice9 years agoSuper HeroHaha Veronica! :) Wouldn't it be great if governmental agencies everywhere hired us to make navigating their documents a good time for all? Lifetime job security right there.

- JackieVanNice9 years agoSuper HeroThank you, Mushtaq!
- DanSweigert9 years agoCommunity MemberJackie, what a tour-de-force! This has to be the BEST example of zooming in on and completing a form I've ever seen. Excellent use of sound (typewriter, signature, stapler) to support the graphics. I love the way you cut out a piece of each form to highlight details and then added the captions and highlight boxes to drill even deeper. The airplane slider is very clever and the whole presentation with the intro and outtro transforms a very bland topic into something truly fun!
- DavidAnderson9 years agoStaffWouldn't you like to see a Jackie Word Cloud?
I imagine it being filled with big, bold phrases like "You Rock!" "Spot On" and "Tour de Force".- JackieVanNice9 years agoSuper HeroYou're so funny...can I quote you on the back cover of my new book? :)
- JackieVanNice9 years agoSuper HeroThanks, Dan! I appreciate that very much. :)
- Daniela9 years agoCommunity MemberBoy that was just out of sight Jackie. Absolutely fantastic idea and so well done! Only thing is it won't work for me (I'm Canadian). Maybe I can try doing one for us. Yah right! May take me a while.
Now, I have one question which I asked in another post and don't think I got a response. How would I go about making the whole background width of my screen a specific colour. Can you help?- JackieVanNice9 years agoSuper HeroThanks, Daniela! I'm sure a Canadian version would be simply lovely. :)
Sure - you can change your background color in Storyline by going to Player > Colors & Effects > Background Color - and changing the page background to any color you'd like.- Daniela9 years agoCommunity MemberI did try Page Background. Oh I see, it doesn't show it in Preview, only when Published. Thanks Jackie.
