What's New in Articulate 360: Q1 2025

We’re excited to introduce our latest features that help take your courses to the next level and enhance your creative workflow. Keep reading to learn about exciting features like morph transitions in Storyline, a built-in math equation editor in Rise, and more.

 

 

Rise 

1. Math equations

Say goodbye to your tedious, multistep process for adding math equations to Rise courses. With the new built-in equation editor, you can build math and science courses without the hassle—and make them accessible to all learners.

2. AI Writer

Need to add additional content to an existing course? Let AI Assistant do it for you. Thanks to the new AI writer feature, when you generate content AI Assistant references surrounding lesson material and source documents—ensuring every addition is relevant and cohesive. With AI writer, you can quickly draft course modules or add course content to refine your course without sacrificing quality.

3. AI-Generated Fill-in-the-Blank and Matching Questions  

Looking to vary your quiz question types, but short on time? Now, in addition to multiple choice questions, you can also quickly generate fill-in-the-blank and matching questions with AI. Creating engaging quizzes has never been easier!

4. Additional AI-Supported Block Types

Want to boost clarity and visual appeal? With AI Assistant, you can instantly generate timeline and table blocks to make it easier for learners to digest your content. What a timesaver!

5. Additional AI-Supported Source Material Types

Sick of spending time transcribing existing audio or video content? Or maybe you have a bunch of Storyline courses you'd like to convert to Rise courses? Well, good news! Now you can upload audio, video, or Storyline files to Rise, and let AI instantly transform them into relevant content, quiz questions, summaries, and more.

1. Advanced JavaScript API

Want to push the boundaries of what's possible natively in Storyline? The new enhanced JavaScript API lets you customize built-in code snippets to edit object properties, trigger custom animations, and create dynamic interactions. With this new feature, the sky truly is the limit!

2. Morph Transitions 

Goodbye static slides, hello stunning animations! With morph transitions in Storyline, it’s easier than ever to create smooth, eye-catching transitions that seamlessly animate objects, shapes, and other content between slides. No matter the topic, morph transitions allow you to effortlessly bring your ideas to life with dynamic transitions that captivate and engage your audience.

3. Voice Library

Having trouble finding an AI voice that resonates with your audience? Good news: We added more AI voices to Storyline, so you have even more options to choose from.  Plus, you can add age, gender, and use case filters to make it easy to find the right voice for your audience.

4. Math Equations

Creating math courses doesn’t have to be hard. With the new built-in equation editor, you can streamline your workflow by building all your content directly in Storyline. Now you can not only insert, customize, and display mathematical expressions without using a third-party app, but you can also ensure they work for all learners, enhancing accessibility. Math just got a whole lot easier!

Reach 

1. Enhanced User Management

No more switching between pages to manage user access! With the enhanced user management experience, you can assign, adjust, monitor permissions, and manage roles all from the user tab . Such a timesaver!
