Hi everyone! Iām Nancy. I work in learning and development for Gant Travel Management, a corporate travel organization, where I design and deliver training focused on customer service, leadership, and agent development.
Iām based in Pennsylvania and primarily support remote call center teams. A big part of my role is creating engaging learning experiences using tools like Storyline, Rise, 7Taps, and simulations to help agents and leaders become more consultative and build stronger connections.
I joined this cohort to sharpen how Iām using AI in my workflow, especially for content creation, scenario design, and speeding up development without losing quality.
Looking forward to learning with you all and swapping ideas!

Welcome, Rachel! Sounds like you already have a lot of experience with AI Assistant. What are your top 2 favorite features that you use the most? Interested to see what your takeaways will be from this cohort!

Hi everyone! š
My name is Carlos Sebastian, and Iām currently based in Quebec city. I work as a Training Content Creator, where my dayātoāday combines instructional design, audiovisual production, and the development of digital learning experiences for corporate and educational environments. My background is in Audiovisual Arts and Multimedia, and I also completed postgraduate studies in eāLearning. Iām especially passionate about researching, designing, and implementing learning projects for digital media, and I love experimenting with new technologies to create training that is engaging, clear, and effective for learners.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I see a huge opportunity to use AI not just to save time, but to enhance creativity, improve learner engagement, and explore new ways of designing meaningful learning experiences. Iām excited to learn practical strategies, exchange ideas with others, and think beyond traditional course formats.
Looking forward to learning with all of you over the next few weeks! š

Hi everyone, My name is Laura and I work in Information Security Awareness and am based out of Massachusetts in the US. I develop a variety of courses for our employees that range from proactive skill building to compliance-based requirements and remedial courses. Our organization is spread across the globe, so we often translate our courses to multiple languages.
As this topic does not always seem approachable to an average user, I am always seeking opportunities to make learning relatable and enjoyable, which is what brings me to this cohort. I am interested to learn more about how AI can help me not only save time but improve the experience for learners that will keep them interested and engaged. I am also interested in learning from others and discover if there are any outside-the-box ways to engage users outside of the traditional course deployment.

Hello, all! I'm Fred. I live in Northern Kentucky and work in Cincinnati, Ohio. I work for 84.51°, the retail intelligence / data science engine for The Kroger Company. I am a learning architect and lead eLearning and educational video development for a team that primarily trains customers and internal users of our commercial data and insights analysis tools. I have been in L&D for more than 30 years, with the majority of that time focused on eLearning. Started off building CD-based courses in Authorware and have used a wide variety of other tools over the years as self-paced learning went online. I started using Articulate Storyline around 2013, and we have more recently been focusing our development in Rise.
I joined the AI Assistant Cohort to learn more ways to leverage its capabilities to jumpstart our course development. I am firm believer that faster is not always better. However, I see value in being able to rapidly generate a first draft of content that we can refine and improve. Also looking forward to meeting all of you and learning how you are using these tools.
Outside of work, I am very active in theatre as a performer, director, and playwright. Also, my wife and I do a lot of hiking, camping, kayaking, and general frolicking in the woods.
We used to have a mini Schnauzer named Luna, but sadly she is no longer with us. Our only pets are the birds, squirrels, rabbits, and deer that like to hang out in our yard.
Glad to be here!
