Hey there! š My name is Pamela and I live in Western North Carolina.
I'm a Senior Learning Experience Designer at Traliant. On any given day I'll be working in Storyline on course templates, customization, and accessibility; along with making high-level design & UX decisions for our products.
Cosmo is my Blue Heeler mix, who takes his job of monitoring my daily activities very seriously (if you know, you know š).
I'm most interested in discovering ways we can leverage AI Assistant to create more efficient development cycles while maintaining high quality results.
I'm looking forward to participating in this cohort and learning collaboratively with everyone.
Hi PamelaKiefer-dbā so glad you're here! How long have you been using Storyline to create e-learning?
- PamelaKiefer-dbCommunity Member
Hi AlyssaGomezā, I've been using Storyline for about 8 years now.

Hello Everyone. My name is Tracy McLean. I am looking forward to completing this cohort and learning more about AI Assistant in Rise and Storyline.
I am located in a small town, Fayetteville, North Carolina. If you have ever heard of Fort Bragg, we are adjoining neighbors.
I work for Versant Health, where our purpose is making healthy vision a reality for everyone! At Versant Health, I am an Instructional Designer. I'm responsible for working closely with our internal partners in designing and developing high quality training programs.
I joined the AI Assistant training cohort to learn more about using AI in designing and developing eLearning courses in both Rise and Storyline.
I do not have a pet but I'm hoping to be a future fur baby mom soon!

Hi, Tracy! I'm originally from NC, graduated from ECU, and lived in Jacksonville and in Clinton for a while. I've visited Fayetteville many times. NC will always be home. Good luck in the course and with the future fur baby!

Hi, April! Awesome to meet you "homegirl"! I just moved back to NC last July. I moved to Maryland after I graduated from college. Then moved to Tampa, Florida in 2019. Now I am back home after being away for a long time.š Thanks for the good vibes and good luck to you as well!

Hi everyone! Iām Courtney, based in the SF Bay Area. I work at Pivot Interiors, where Iām an Organizational Learning and Development Specialist. My day-to-day focuses on designing training programs, building e-learning content, supporting onboarding, and helping employees grow and develop in their roles in addition to providing organizational change management support for various initiatives. I also tend to wear a lot of different hatsāpartnering on internal communications, systems support, and special projects that pop up along the way or if someone needs to just "figure this out". š¤£
Iām excited to be here and learn more about using AI within Articulate!
And this is Murphy - my extremely lazy and demanding WFH colleague.Nice to meet you, Courtney-Barryā and Murphy! Isn't it funny how L&D professionals often become the de facto problem-solvers on a team? Excited to learn along with you in this cohort!

Hi everyone! Iām Lidia, but please call me Lili, joining from Wilmington Island, Georgia.
Iām a Learning Engagement Associate at AAAS with a background in instructional design and organizational leadership. My work focuses on building digital courses with an emphasis on accessibility and inclusive design. I am also a simultaneous interpreter and a native Spanish speaker.
I joined this cohort to explore how to responsibly use AI to streamline development while maintaining high-quality learning. I love being a collaborative, "behind-the-scenes" partner and am excited to learn with you all!
Bonus: When I'm not working, you'll usually find me driving my kids around or gathering with my husband!

Hi there! My name is Kerry and I'm located in St. Louis, Missouri. I work at Barry-Wehmiller as the Operations Leader for the People Development Team. I support a variety of programs that fall under the People Development umbrella, including learning + development, talent + performance, recognition, and cultural intelligence. I have been in the learning/LMS/content development space for over 15 years and led Barry-Wehmiller's Workday Learning Implementation project to a successful launch in January 2025.
I joined this cohort because I have been building courses in Rise using the AI Assistant tool for a bit now, but am fairly certain that I have only just scratched the surface of its capabilities. I have not utilized any AI functionality in Storyline as of yet, but am interested in understanding more though I will be primarily building content in Rise.
To be very clear, I am NOT an avid user of AI, in fact I avoid it at all costs in my personal life, but I understand the benefits of quick design/development (where it is beneficial) and am resigned to the fact that AI is here to stay in the business world.
I do not have any pets, but I have a 10 year old daughter who keeps me busy!
Hi there KerryOConnor-92ā so glad you've joined us! It sounds like you've been in the industry for a while. How long have you used Articulate tools during your 15 years in the L&D space?
- KerryOConnor-92Community Member
Hi AlyssaGomezā! I have been using Articulate tools since about 2014. I taught myself Storyline 2 at a prior employer after they handed me a license and told me to modularize some of our ILT content (with no formal training offered). I found a TON of helpful resources on eLearning Heroes and attended a couple community events here in St. Louis through ATD. I don't work much in Storyline anymore as we have a content developer (DejakaBachmanā, who is also participating in this cohort!!) but I support in design/development when needed and do a LOT in Rise, specifically with the AI Assistant. :)

Hello, my name is Elda and I am an L&D specialist working for a non-profit organisation in Sweden within the field of medicines safety. Besides developing training programs and online content, I also manage and maintain our LMS and support global learners daily.
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I would like to use AI responsibly and in the same time as efficiently as possible. I hope I can learn as much as possible how to use AI within Articulate in ways that will support me in the different phases of developing online courses.
Hello pepelucciā! It sounds like you have your hands full managing all aspects of the training program at your organization! I'm glad you decided to join this cohort--looking forward to learning with you!
- ShannonRichCommunity Member
Cheers everyone! My name is Shannon, and I work for Roche Diagnostics based in the SF Bay Area. My current role (official title is Technical Product Manager) focuses on support for both our global field support organization and customers. Part of my job is to develop technical learning programs for our products that can be used for internal and end-user training.
Rise360 has been a great tool for the past 2 years to design on-demand, interactive content for participants. I joined the AI Assistant cohort to learn how to improve content design that will foster more user engagement, excitement and knowledge retention. Our training content can be fairly comprehensive and heavy with technical details, so I'm always looking for ways to present this information in a format that is easy to understand and not overwhelming, even enjoyable for participants.
No pets in my apartment, but I'm living vicariously through everyone's furbaby photos!š
Hi there ShannonRichā so glad you're here! It sounds like you have a couple of years of Rise experience under your belt, so I'm eager to hear your thoughts on how the AI Assistant makes content creation even easier for you.

Hi everyone! š
Iām Diana Jacobs, based in Phoenix, Arizona. I work at Nextiva on the Learning & Development team as a Learning Experience Leader. Day-to-day, I design and build learning experiences, everything from sales training and onboarding programs to interactive courses in Rise and Storyline.
I also come from a digital design background, so Iām always looking for ways to blend thoughtful design with learning strategy. If youāre curious, you can check out a bit more about my work here: https://deejacobs.com/works/
I joined this AI Assistant Certification Cohort because I love learning and want to make sure Iām fully unlocking the potential of the AI Assistant in my workflow. Iām hoping to walk away with stronger workflows, smarter prompting strategies, and a clearer sense of where AI truly adds value (and where it doesnāt).
šš Double Bonus: I share my workspace with two orange tabby cats who like to supervise everything I do.
Looking forward to learning alongside all of you!

Hi everyone! Itās a pleasure to connect with all of you and embark on this journey together.
My name is Mónica V., Iām based in Mexico City, and I am an Interactive Technology Engineer with a background in Digital Animation. For the past five+ years, Iāve been immersed in the world of E-Learning, and I am deeply passionate about gamification.
My professional philosophy is rooted in a simple truth: as children, we learn by playing, imagining, and testing limits without fear. However, as we grow and take on more responsibilities, learning often loses that sense of joy. My mission is to change that. I strive to create training solutions that balance high academic value with genuine engagement, ensuring that adults actually enjoy the process of practicing and discovering.
I joined this certification because I see AI as the perfect ally to take this vision to the next level. I want to explore how we can design AI assistants that act as "playful mentors," making learning more fluid, interactive, andāabove allāhuman-centered.
Bonus: Meet Tony Chopper! š¾ As a huge anime fan, my "assistant" at home is my dog, Tony Chopper (named after the One Piece character, of course!). Heās adorable and is always by my side while I design new experiences. Here is a picture of him!

Hi everyone, my name is Heather, and I am the Instructional Design Manager at AutoStore System. Our North American HQ is in Salem, NH, and that is the office I work out of - although my training team is almost all located abroad. We develop product-related training for a wide variety of users, and I'm excited to hone my skills here and see what everyone else is doing! I love to hike with my family, knit & crochet, travel, and am constantly on the search for the world's best chocolate chip cookie recipe.
I have a large, fluffy dog named Soba, whose main hobbies are chasing rabbits, doing QA and testing for any food that falls on the floor, and taking his humans for walks.
