- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities? Honestly, everything in Rise was super intuitive and user friendly. Storyline was almost as intuitive but, given it's more robust UI, sometimes finding the AI options wasn't as apparent as in Rise.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? Actually, I was surprised by storylines ability to help with animations. That can be such a time saver! Or would this fall more under prompt 3? Either way, loved it!
I'm so glad you tried Storyline's AI animations feature, BriannaKaili266! This tutorial video has several ideas for how to prompt animations in the AI Chat.

- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
- Intuitive would be adding Ai blocks, images, knowledge checks, summary. All very helpful tools to gain efficiencies
- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
- Images that required some text, like the https vs. http came up most of the time with misspelled words like Unscuecured. So it seems that requesting images that might also need test is unreliable.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
- Found them all valuable and will play with them in the future to see what else I can do to make them even more usefulu.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
- I was challenged when thinking about the process steps. Adding an Ai block, vs. using an Ai button within an already existing lesson block. It will be building muscle memory

Here are the two questions I chose to answer:
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? I really liked the ability to change the tone and shorten text with the help of AI. I will be experimenting more with this in the future.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? I found that AI still has a lot of issues with spelling words correctly when creating images. It will often misspell words which makes the picture unusable at that point.

The AI Assistant feature I’ve found most useful so far is the Edit Text tool. As an instructional designer, I tend to be verbose when writing content, and that level of detail doesn’t always translate well for learners moving quickly through Rise lessons. Having AI help tighten and clarify content makes it easier to stay learner‑focused without losing the intent.

I’ve found the knowledge check generation incredibly helpful — it saves time during development, even though I usually refine the questions to better align with our scenarios and objectives.
I'm with you abarker11! I also tend to be a verbose writer, so asking the AI Assistant to shorten text or even prompt it to "rewrite this text for clarity with a friendly tone" has been so helpful!

The most intuitive feature was using AI to refine existing content directly in Rise—especially rewriting, shortening, and adjusting tone within lesson blocks. It fit naturally into my workflow and supported Articulate’s focus on accelerating content creation without starting from scratch.
The main challenge was getting AI to consistently reflect instructional intent without very clear prompting. I found that results improved through iteration, reinforcing that AI works best as a collaborative assistant guided by human judgment rather than a one‑click solution. Thos most fun for me was the cookie experiment. Also, it doesn't understand negatives very well. i.e., "Don't use..." It's best to just say what you do want.
On my wish list: ability to convert to other AI blocks. For example, from a list to a reflection block.

- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities? I love the AI image feature - there are so many times in the past where I couldn't find the right image to illustrate a point or concept (and I spent way too much time trying to find one!) I also love the text-to-speech feature. I'm currently working on a new Rise course that will need to be narrated so this feature will come in handy.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? Wow, hard to pick just one! Any of these saves so much time - I really like the change tone tool - will really help message things to the appropriate audiences.

I have selected
- What surprised you - after a text selection, using the option "generate from selection" and select Create an AI image prompt. The propt generated is really a good start for AI image generation.
- Which editing tools did I find most valuable? The option to select the sources content in AI block in case of asking for a summary.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share that I have selected the two questions:- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
My response: I found the block creation and conversion features very useful. Earlier, if I created a block and felt midway that there was a lot of content and the block I'd created wouldn't provide a great user experience, I would need to delete that and then choose another one. But with this AI feature, it was super helpful to just convert one block to another and the way I presented the content would change in a few secs. Great feature! - What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
My response: What surprised me was the huge library of 5K AI voice generators that the tool provides, so we can select the one that suits the content and its tone. Also, I love the feature that enables us to shorten or increase the length of the text or helps us change the tone of writing or simplify it. Very helpful during tight deadlines!

- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities? They are all intuitive.
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? I like the idea of rewriting with the ability to shorten and lengthen as needed for content that may be difficult to explain.

- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) Rewrite and shorten are great time savers for me. I am often creating content for SME's about topics I do not fully understand. Having the AI shorten their explanations or rewriting them so that I can understand better is great!
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? I really dislike having to filter out what is actual information and what the AI 'filled in'. I have tried prompts to have it not 'lie' or give untrue information with varying levels of success.
