Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
The AI text-to-speech feature stood out as the most intuitive. It is straightforward to use for both generating and revising audio, which makes the workflow efficient. One issue I have encountered, however, occurs when generating a large amount of audio through Storyline or when the application remains open across multiple desktop sessions. In those cases, the AI dialog box sometimes disappears behind the main window, requiring me to close and reopen the application to resolve the problem.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
At times, the AI image generator produces unexpected visual repetition. For example, it may display the same individual multiple times in a single image. In office or corporate settings, it also tends to generate characters wearing very similar clothing, such as blue button-down shirts or blue suits, even when more variety would be expected.

Didn't get a chance to post here during week 1, hoping it's not too late :D
Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
Definitely "Make shorter" and "Make longer". So useful when looking to make quick changes but not feeling inspired. And not an editing per se, but I love the "Generate from selection" > "Create an AI image prompt". It doesn't always hit the mark but gives such a strong baseline to keep building off of to come up with a good prompt. What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
The image generation definitely has limitations (some of which are probably due to user's limitations in writing accurate prompts).
I wanted to generate an image of a person looking in a mirror and holding a piece of paper (as if they were rehearsing a speech) but couldn't get to an image where the image reflected in the mirror matched the image of the person standing in front of the mirror. The hands weren't in the same position.
Like other users in this conversation, I also struggled with the practice activity where we needed to generate an image around web cookies without having a food cookie appearing on the image. Took a few tries and when I got to the right prompt, still three out of the four generated images had a cookie on them. So definitely more work to do on my end to figure out how to write the best prompts for best results! - sveithCommunity Member
- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why?
The conversion tools are valuable because there has been back and forth in the past as to how to present content, and being able to make something that you think is good, but on the fly convert it to something else, for example from flip cards to tabs, and then see them one after the other, it give the stakeholder the option without having to do a lot of extra work. - What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
Getting over my own style and how I would have written something, and being okay with the AI voice sort of replacing mine. I still believe in my ability to write good content, but the AI features that allow to shorten or polish writing is a great asset.

- Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities?
- Getting AI to rewrite, change tone, shorten/lengthen text in basically the blink of an eye is great. I often ask AI to simplify language in text for my audience.
- What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation?
- Text to speech has improved and sounds much more natural with the introduction of new voices and the ability to use bracket-based markup to add pauses, adjust speed, emphasize words or change pitch.

- I love the change tone editing tool. I love that you can change the tone based off the information being conveyed or your target audience etc.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted?
- I didn’t really face any challenges per se but with the AI image generator I will have to practice with it more. I am big on making sure the image I use conveys a story correctly. So I will be practicing with this more.

Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities? - AI audio
What surprised you about how AI handled text or media generation? How bad the graphic building is.

Which AI Assistant feature felt most intuitive or useful to you during the practice activities? I loved the convert a block. What a time saver!
Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? I love the rewrite. I often get content from SMEs that goes on and on. I edit the content but this rewrite tool will save me a tremendous amount of time!

- Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? Honestly, all the text editing tools. It will be a big time saver, and especially handy when dealing with more technical subjects.
- What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? The AI image generator still seems to be a bit hit or miss. When generating the practice prompt in cinematic photo style, the image included books with nonsense words as their titles.

I love that you can upload content to create an entire course! A challenge that I see is going through the generated content to ensure its correct/accurate. In health care a life could be on the line with a simple sentence change.

I chose the following two questions.
Which editing tools (rewrite, shorten, change tone, etc.) did you find most valuable, and why? The two tools I find most valuable are Rewrite and Tone. Our organizational standards require that all educational content avoids pronouns and maintains a professional yet approachable voice. These tools allow me to quickly refine wording and adjust the tone, so the final content aligns with these expectations.
What challenges did you face when trying to get AI to produce the results you wanted? The biggest challenge I encountered was my dislike of the AI‑generated images. I found it particularly frustrating when trying to create a suitable image for the Toss the Cookies flashcard. Even after adding more technical descriptions, the tool continued to generate images that included actual cookies.

I also really dislike AI-generated images. I tend to use AI to help me come up with a new idea, and then develop my own image. While it takes longer, I can't get past AI images.
