Week 1 Guided Practice Activity
Welcome to your week one guided practice activity! This is your opportunity to take what you learned from this week's training videos and put it into practice. We're big believers that you learn by doing, not by viewing.
✔️ Your activity this week is simple:
- Click this link to copy the AI Training: Rise & Storyline Practice Activities Rise course to your Rise dashboard.
- Open the course on your Rise 360 Dashboard.
- Click Edit Content to open each lesson, and follow the steps in each lesson. Each one includes a short tutorial video to guide you if you need extra help.
Note: If you’re using only Rise and don’t have access to Storyline, that’s totally fine. The Storyline portion of the activity is optional.

I currently do not have AI Assistant, nor am I able to start a free trial to do any of this. I got an error message stating that the request could not be completed. It was my understanding that I would have access to this feature during this cohort session. Does it need to be activated in order for me to complete this?
Hi AnnieMessmer-a5! Yes, you will need access to AI Assistant to complete this cohort. You'll want to reach out to your Articulate 360 Team admin at your organization to request to be added to a team that has AI Assistant.
I have been asking for it for nearly 18 months. Why was I invited to join this if I do not have access? Our entire organization was invited to join.
Hi Alyssa - should the instruction be 'Edit Content', or is there someplace specific we should be seeing 'Edit Lesson'?

Excellent lesson, I even picked up some AI prompt ideas that can be applied to how I incorporate AI into my work more broadly.
This has been great! I do have one question where my screen does not match the AI Assistant in the videos. I'm working on the practice for Storyline. I'm on the activity of using the AI assistant to add animations, and I'm not seeing where I can free text in to prompt the AI Assistant. I only have pre-populated suggestions like generate image, voice to text, etc. Did anyone else experience this?

Hello there - I am currently working through the Storyline AI practice exercises and when attempting to complete Practice 3: Create AI Entrance Animation I don't have the "ask me anything" in my AI Assistant. I only have specific prompts to choose from. Here is what my AI Assistant looks like in my practice lesson.
I also noticed that my AI Assistant tab says "AI Assistant New" and in the videos I'm watching the tab says "AI Assistant Beta" and Beta is in blue.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Great practice lessons! Quick and to the point!
However, I observed one functionality missing or maybe any expert can guide me! While working on the "Create lesson summary" task, I could generate summary points using the content provided in two separate blocks. However, it inserted as two separate lists as the content is spread in two different blocks. It would be great if "Edit with AI" can recognize the prompt to combine bullet points from two different blocks. I tried to give the prompt but it didn't work! Nonetheless, AI assistant functionality is quite helpful to expedite the daily work. Thanks! 👍Hi, do the practice courses need to be submitted anywhere or are they for our use only?
Good question KatP they are for your use only! The only activity that needs to be submitted to me is the Week 2 Hands-On Practice Activity, and you'll find submission instructions on that page.
I'm wondering about the sorting/drag and drop activity and accessibility. It was my understanding that drag and drops did not meet accessibility standards. How do we reconcile that?
Good question. A keyboard user tabs into the appropriate sort bucket, hits enter and that moves the card into the bucket rather than having to drag/drop. Here is more detail.
