Is there a way to use the AI Assistant in Rise to create the outline and then export it to Storyline to build out the content?
Hey MelAngiulo if it were me, I would generate the Rise AI Course Draft as "text only," then I would use that text-only content to create a storyboard for my Storyline course. I hope that helps!

Does Articulate Rise support creating a scenario with two speakers using AI-generated voice audio?
Hi JPLagar while you wouldn't be able to create a scenario with two speakers in the scenario block, you could get creative and build something like that using a different block type! I would recommend creating it in a custom block (or a series of several custom blocks) because you can design the block however you like!

Hi! In the Getting Started With AI Assistant in Rise training video there is a reference to a prompt template for generating a scenario ( time- 39:55). Is that something that can be shared with the group please?
Oh great question GregMetzger ! I'll ask Ginger for that template and share it with you here! I'll also attach it to the Getting Started With AI Assistant in Rise video page.

I am in the practice and it looks like I don't have "edit text with Ai" I have the Ai assistant in my rise 360 but literally step 1 in practice is to highlight a body of text and select edit text with Ai button and I don't have that. Is that something I need to turn on
Hi kimbimontaine it looks like you're using Mighty, a third party app, that could be getting in the way of the AI Assistant text editor. Are you able to temporarily disable Mighty to see if that resolves it?

Half-way through the first video and I've learned so much already!

Is there a way to get AI Assistant to copy or apply a theme from a previously created course? I want all of my courses to have the same color scheme and font.
Hey SusanRuiz-12325 that's not something that's available right now, but hopefully that's a feature we can add in the future!

A few questions.
- At the beginning, you uploaded resources you had created that I believe were called Presentation Quick Tips and Presentation Structure. Can you provide any examples or best practices on how to format something along those lines or how they're laid out to get the best results with the prompt?
- I often have screenshots from SMEs that need to be included in courses. It would be a huge time saver if there was a way to point to those files in source materials (upload the images and refer to their file names). Will this be possible?
- I've used the flash cards interactive block a few times and have noticed that 4 flashcards always end up with three on top and one underneath. Is there a way to edit the layout so that they can be two rows of two?
Excellent questions, MaryAnn-W ! Happy to tackle each one:
- We actually don't have formatting recommendations for source content that you can upload to the AI Course Drafts workflow because the AI can read and understand any format! As long as the file is a compatible file type, it should work great.
- This feature is coming soon! Have a look at the
Source Content Image Extraction feature on our feature roadmap.
- Yes! You can adjust the flashcard size to large under the Format button, and that will give you two rows of two.
Thanks, AlyssaGomez! "Format" probably wasn't the best way to ask my question. I'm actually curious about what you would put in those types of files,, especially Presentation Quick Tips. It's been a while since I've worked on more complex training courses, and having not used AI with my previous tasks, I'm wondering what types of things you could include in the files. I get that "Presentation Structure" is likely related to layout, but I just hadn't occurred to me to include files beyond reference material for the actual content, so any kind of guidance on how something like these files could help would be great.

Generating voice-overs with AI has definitely been a game-changer for my team. One constant challenge I've run into is adjusting specific pronunciation (e.g., acronyms, industry jargon, etc.). In Rise, I find myself adjusting the source text to spell out certain words phonetically or even re-writing the script to get something that works. Are SSML tags supported in Rise? Any other tips would be welcome.
Hey MattRecio-a4144 thanks for calling this out.
When someone runs into a mispronounced word, I generally recommend starting by spelling the word phonetically, as you mentioned.
You can also try the V3 voice model, which is our latest model and offers the most accurate pronunciation. We made V3 the default yesterday, so if you tested text to speech before that change, you were likely using the previous model.

I was already working with a teammate on creating job aids for SMEs interested in creating ILT/VILT sessions. Those job aids talked about the "what" but not necessarily the "how". I was able to import those job aids and provide a few sentences about the learning outcomes in Rise and instantly create a course: Designing Impactful ILT & VILT: Essentials for Subject Matter Experts - that is based on learning science and meets their needs - this is awesome!
SandraSmith-0b3 I love that use case! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

I'm working on a project with specific branding guidelines (e.g. colors, fonts, etc.) Can I add a sample document with those branding guidelines and ask the AI assistant to apply that branding to my new course?
Hi KristinSleep288 that's a great question. Source documents are treated as "content" for the course, so I would avoid uploading branding guidelines as source content. Instead, you can add brand guidelines to the course description area above where you upload source content. Give that a try, and let me know how it works out for you!
