My go-to styles

Here are a few of the prompts I use most frequently in my projects and demos.

Quick tip on the prompts: Because the AI models are constantly evolving, I find I need to make tweaks to the prompts after so many weeks. That's okay but my tip here is to be prepared to iterate on your prompts.

National Park Vintage

Style prompt:

modern and artistic, blending realism with a polygonal design approach, reminiscent of a vintage National Park poster design  with a focus on cool natural tones and subtle contrasts

Retro Offset Print Design

Style prompt:

Create a flat vector illustration in a vintage offset-printed editorial style, ensuring the scene extends beyond the canvas edges. Use thick dark navy outlines only on individual objects, employing rounded geometric shapes, simple silhouettes, and a limited retro palette of colors. The artwork should feel tactile and vintage, with subtle imperfections, and feature one clear focal point in a friendly educational style, avoiding photorealism, excessive detail, and modern design elements.

Nice. I like the retro adaptation. I never thought of saving my prompts for the future. I use them and then move on. I haven't shown them any respect. This challenge made me think about how valuable a good prompt is.

  • I like this..  never used retro before... feel inspired to try it out. ;) Thanks David
