Put Me Away While Driving
I knew I wanted to create a video for this project, but I wasn’t sure which platform to use—Vyond, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, or maybe another tool I hadn’t worked with yet. I ended up stumbling into building the entire thing in Elevenlabs, and I was honestly surprised by how easy the process was.
I generated the video, grabbed a still image from it, and then added v3 voices (Callum) using Aurora voice sync. The hardest part was getting it set up, but the actual generation process took less than 10 minutes. This would have taken so much longer if I had used Vyond.
The final result is a bit more “smiley” than I was originally aiming for, but overall I’m extremely impressed by how quickly I was able to go from idea to finished output. This was a great example of discovering an efficient workflow simply by experimenting—and it definitely made me rethink how fast video prototyping can be with the right tools.

This looks great! I'm always looking for new tools. Do you have to pay for Hey Gen? and Aurora?

I just realized that I said I made it in HeyGen when it was actually in Elevenlabs that I made this. Elevenlabs is amazing. I think it is mostly known for being used for voice over but I have been experimenting with the other features. You can make your own background music, sound effects, and add voice tags to make your voices speak a specific way. The Aurora voice sync was just one of the many voice sync options that made the video come to life.
Our team uses ElevenLabs and is lucky enough to have Articulate AI licenses too. I have noticed that with Articulate AI many of the AI voices from Elevenlabs are now included with the license (including version 3 where they you can add voice tags in Rise) which makes adding voice over SOO easy. Elevenlabs is constantly adding new things to their online platform though which I think are so cool to experiment with.
I think HeyGen is mostly known for the realistic talking head videos you can create.
