Using Anthropomorphic Characters in E-Learning #539

Lately, there’s been a bunch of fantastic AI-generated cooking videos making the rounds, where food and kitchen tools complain (loudly) about how they’re being treated.

Maybe it’s a pot of rice grumbling about not getting rinsed, or a frying pan wincing when someone throws in wet food.

Watching these ingredients and tools react to kitchen mistakes is actually a pretty fun way to pick up the basics, like why you should rinse your rice, skip the oil in your pasta water, or dry things off before they hit the pan.

Instead of a boring list of rules, you just watch the characters show you exactly what not to do. And that’s what this week’s challenge is all about!

🏆 Challenge of the Week

This week, your challenge is to create a short learning experience where the main characters are objects, tools, or even concepts that act like people.

Let the characters show (and maybe complain about) what happens when they’re used the right or wrong way.

🙌 Share Your E-Learning Work

You put in the effort, now make sure your work gets seen:

  • Personal blog: If you have a blog, please write about your example from this week’s challenge and share the link with your submission.
  • Social media: Please share your examples on LinkedIn and mention both David & Articulate using the #ElearningChallenge tags so we can help promote your work.
  • Support your peers: With the new submission format, you can comment directly on each example. Try leaving helpful feedback on at least three projects this week.
  • Community forums: Feel free to cross-post in the forums to give your work even more visibility.
