Adding Audio Files to a Storyline Project

Dec 11, 2022

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a fairly sizable Storyline project that involves creating approximately 13 tutorials. Each tutorial is between 50 - 100 slides long. Each slide will be narrated, and my organization is hiring someone to do the voice over.

The plan, so far, is to have the narrator (using her own equipment) record (and save) each audio file to the cloud, where I can download them and then upload them individually into each slide in each tutorial.

This seems like such a tedious process. Outside of me narrating audio files directly into Storyline, is there a better, faster or more efficient method of completing this task?

Hi Kim - Yes, the process can be tedious, especially if you have layers and text animations occurring on numerous slides. In my opinion, though, you are putting your best foot forward to give the user a terrific learning experience.

There's not really any other efficient method of doing this work that I can recall that will give you the results you are hoping for.
