Adding or duplicating an object (text input) by creating a trigger on a button
Dear all,
I am trying to create a button on the scene with a trigger on click that will duplicate an existing (but hidden?) input field when clicked.
The goal is to allow the user to add "post-it" to a slide and to drag them around.
Is this something that can be achieved in Storyline?
Thanks in advance for your feedback and ideas!

Hi, Francois.
Thank you for reaching out!
I'm looking forward to what our talented community members will suggest for you! In the meantime, I wanted to share a few ideas, and I hope I fully understood what you're trying to achieve:
- Create different layers for different text entry fields. Each time the user clicks submit, show the next layer.
- Add a reference to each "post-it" note, matching the variables of the text entry fields you created.
- Hide the notes (initial state = hidden) and only show them when the user clicks the submit button.
- Convert the slide to FreeForm - Drag and Drop, but remove feedback and uncheck any "snapping" choice from the drag and drop options.
Here's an example:
I hope this helps!
