Can Continue button become activated at the Conclusion of a slide?

Aug 02, 2022

At beginning of my training, we provide learners the option of going through our interactive training via Auto Audio Play or Manual Audio Play (where they can use the keyboard to pause the training if need be.) I have build several Manual Play Audio slides into the training for learner who choose Manual Audio Play.  At the end of every slide they are linked to a "Click to play audio" slide where they can continue in Manual Play by clicking on the speaker icon. (See attachment.)

We are sharing this training with a university that drops the published SCORM training into their LMS.  Our contact there would like for the Continue button to also become activated when a learner lands ton the Click to Play Audio slide as a way of advancing (in same way it would if the use clicked the speaker icon).  As of now, the Continue button never appears activated (as you can see in the attached screenshot).  This is even with triggers in place and a "Jump to next slide when use clicks  or swipes next."

Is there a way to activate the Continue button for this purpose?  We obviously don't want users to click through the main slides so we need to keep the Navigation Restricted in general.  Not sure though if we can accommodate the request on these slides though (that actually just connect back to the main slides but with the Manual Play functionality in play).

Thoughts?

Hi, Christian.

Thank you for reaching out!

If I understand correctly, you want to restrict your menu but allow some slides to have the Next button (which in your player is called Continue) enabled when the timeline starts.

If that's your scenario, take a look at the article below with steps on how to accomplish this:
